Housing Information 
Basic Allowance For Housing (BAH) gives active service members two options for housing; living on post or finding a home off-post within the community.

• The Housing Services Office (803) 751-5788 assists with finding housing in the local community. They also mediate landlord-tenant disputes, review leases and help with home inspections.

• Single Soldier Housing (803) 751-5446 is reserved for Single or Unaccompanied Soldiers within the rank of E1-E5 who are required to live in the Freddie Stowers Complex. 

• On-post housing for Fort Jackson is privatized and operated by Balfour Beatty Communities (803) 738-8275, which offers 2-4 bedroom townhomes and single family units based on pay grade and family size. Home amenities may include: washer/dryer hookups, central AC, garage, fireplace and more. The community features 27 playgrounds and a fitness center.
